Ezra and Lex are back. This book will have you crying, laughing, and biting your fingernails. Ezra fights to get back with Lex. Not in his normal domineering style either. Oh, he's still a beast. The beast is in love. And it's hot! However, the beast was brought to his knees in the last book and remains there for a little while. And I loved it. I'm team Ezra all day, but Lex was redeemed in this book. She became a wife - in the truest sense of the word.Tragedy strikes, and then the truths about his and her past comes to light. They struggle at times. Some very real moments of despair. Lex stands by her man and uplifts him like a good wife should. She becomes so much more in this book.Quite a bit of unresolved drama trickled over from the last book, but we have all of our questions answered in 'Bonded with Ezra.'Nothing is left up in the air. We find the answers about Precious, Rasul, and the painful attack. There are some surprises and lots of heartwarming moments.And...of course the sex is off the charts! 😘Throughout the book I found myself rooting and angry at both Lex and Ezra. They each make mistakes, but their mistakes are clouded with love and what love does to you. It confounds you at times. Both are stubborn, at times missing the words and actions of love being made by the other.Anyway, this was an epic ending to an already epic story. It ends with a HEA.Love Belvin delivered in the final chapter of Ezra and Lex. She did the impossible with this series. She made me love them more.ProsWell written. I didn't observe any grammar mistakes, no I'm hard on authors.Ezra is still Ezra, but now the beast is in love.Lex is still Harlem World. Tough, sweet and gritty.Jealous lover - Ezra is hot!The sex if still off the chain! HOT!We have our questions from Books 1-2 answered.This is a true love story.Emotional journey.ConsIt comes to an end. One of the best series I've ever read.
Love delivers again in this thoughtfully paced and thorough closure to the story of Ezra and Lex.I have never wavered in my affinity for Ezra because while he may have flaws he truly is a perfect character that goes through realistic transformation for the love of a woman. You can feel his growth and the torment he goes through as he incorporates mainstream ideas of love into his unconventional ideas of covenant. The articulation of the bond between him and Lex was a true depiction of what it really feels like to be in true love even when it is imperfect.I like that the characters experienced moments of self awareness that required them to humble themselves in order to right their relationship and that they demonstrated how you can still love someone even though you may not like them in the moment, or appreciate their behavior.The evolution of the characters makes you feel more connected to them because you feel them making adaptations for the success of their relationship. Seeing and feeling in the moment with Ezra as he showed his vulnerabilities was needed so readers could finally understand that this man definitely had a heart and was capable of demonstrating love.It was great to see Ezra lose control even if it was just for a moment dealing with Rasul and to see wavering but fleeting moments of doubt related to his hope and faith. You get a back story to his ties in Kamagu which was great though Lex was slightly too controlled but again that's her growth.Lex wins in the end with the perfect mix of sin and saint with Ezra. The story was well rounded out and will remain my favorite for a long time coming.Thanks Love!
WOW, This book is just...sighsNot gonna give a summary just wanted to touch on two parts that stood out to me(although there were so many). When he was explaining his time in India and the work he was doing, he was basically telling Lex he was a sex worker. No, he was not a prostitute but that was the industry he worked in and that really blew my mind. He has such a complicated relationship with sex and it could of went so very wrong especially because of his calling in life. Instead he was honest with himself and asked God to send him a wife that he didn't have to hide it from, he could own and explore it with and that's what he got. Another one of my favorite moments is when broke down on the pulpit right before had to preach and the singer had to come and sing him out of his funk. For the first time since he'd accepted his calling to do Gods work, in that moment he was so broken because of the state of his relationship with Alexis he didn't want to perform what he was called to do.That moment maybe more than anything expressed just how deeply he loved his wife that she could get him to a point, even for just a moment, that he had no interest in heeding Gods calling for his life.Also Alexis is such a strong,resilient, incredible woman.If there was anyone who could teach Ezra how to love she was it. For her to find out her father was apart of the reason she was attacked and she still found a way to not hate him just speaks to how truly pure of heart she is.Last Also lol you always develop the secondary characters JUST enough that they enhance and not take from the main characters and story thank you for that so many writer just can't find the right balance.Love, you are truly a gifted and incredible artist please don't make us wait to long for you next book we're ready for it NOW lolSpeaking of your next book I'm gonna go ahead speak for everyone and tell you we miss Ezra and Alexis already wouldn't mind if you continue/revisited them SOON
